Joel Williams is an independent consultant plant and soil health educator who has extensive practical experience in Australia, UK and Canada where he is based.

Following a year of heavy foliar disease pressure, resulting the breakdown of many fungicide regimes, Joel will share how to help our crops be less reliant on fungicides and insecticides by building resilience through nutrition.

This Workshop will cover the following topics:

    • Building Plant Immunity to Pests & Diseases – Methods to strengthen your plant’s natural immunity against disease and pest attack.
    • Integrated Pest Management – Tools to reduce your reliance on ‘cides’
    • Foliar Nutrition – Effective nutrient application using foliar sprays

These SANTFA workshops represent a value of $200 per person. The Clare event is proudly supported by the Northern and Yorke Landscape Board. The Wudinna event is supported by the Eyre Peninsula Landscape Board and AIR EP, through funding from the Australian Government.

  • Is SOC a indicator of soil health and resilience?

We’re also covering nitrogen bank strategies, targeted trace element application and what the wider environment is signalling to us about our plant and soil health.
